Privacy Policy — Falafel Alsham

We respect your privacy. This page explains what data the Falafel Alsham app collects, why, and how we protect it.

Data we collect

• Account data: name and phone number — used to verify your identity via a one-time code (OTP) and link your orders to your account, with no password.
• Delivery address and location: to deliver your order or show you our nearest branches.
• Order details: items ordered, preferences, and order history, to fulfill your order and power the "Order again" feature.
• Device identifier for push notifications (FCM): used only to send order status notifications.

How we use your data

• Fulfilling, delivering, and tracking your orders.
• Contacting you about your orders (status notifications).
• Loyalty points and offers tied to your account.
• Customer support when you reach out.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with our payment provider (Paymob) when you choose online payment, and with our notification provider (Firebase) to deliver app notifications. All communication is encrypted in transit.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account → Delete account); see the delete-account page for details. Upon deletion your personal data is removed or anonymized; order history may be retained in anonymized form for accounting and legal purposes for the period required by law.
